Hat made to fit head sizes: 18”, 21-22”, 23”. 24” 2-3” of negative ease in the pattern for the hat to have a snug fit Measured flat hat measures: 9”, 9.5”, 10”, 10,5” wide 8”, 8.5”, 9”, 9.5”. tall Sample made in size 2 of the pattern Hat is made bottom up starting with the ribbing for the hat then working in the established stitch pattern for the rest of the body eventually joining in the round with slight crown decreases before being seamed closed and then finally some finishing single crochet stitches around the edge to finish off the hat.
