Materials and tools needed: * Any yarn that you feel comfortable with, although for amigurumi it is recommended to use a yarn with some structure, such as cotton or acrylic yarn. This pattern uses 100% cotton yarn (Sport/#2 weight) in one main color for the bear, two contrasting colors for the swimming shorts (e.g. red and white) * Colors used for the swim rings: Frog - green / Duck - yellow and orange / Flamingo - pink, white and black * Crochet hook size 2.5mm (or a hook size corresponding to the thickness of yarn you use) * Small amount of black and white embroidery thread to embroider the nose and eye details. * Needle to embroider the face details and attach separate pieces to the bear * Fiberfill / toy stuffing * Scissors, stitch markers, sewing pins
