Finlay the Pygmy Seahorse

Finlay the Pygmy Seahorse first appeared in TOFT's Summer Competition during the Summer of 2024. These tiny seahorses are usually only 14-27 millimetres from the tip of their tail to the end of their snout, and are masters of camouflage. Hiding amongst the tall seagrasses and beautiful gorgonian corals of the deep, they are certainly difficult to discover. We'll leave you to decide which combination of TOFT's bright colours to crochet this beautiful pygmy seahorse in! YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, a wool needle and two centralisers to mark fin positioning (optional). Find everything you need in our haberdashery section. MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Pygmy Seahorse will be approximately 27cm long from top of head to end of tail when uncurled. SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience however a video covering all the techniques is available on our YouTube channel. IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
