The result of some experimentation. What is the minimum amount of detail and shape needed to suggest that something is a cat? I originally meant for it to be upside down, for the seamed edges to be the feet of the model but realised it was far simpler to do it the other way around. Anyway, I'd like to further experiment with different ways to add facial detail using different stitches or even embellishments, but I'll leave that up to your own imagination. • Stitches used: ch, slst, dc, invdec, French knot, straight stitch
