Knitting Pattern for a Short, Sleeveless Crop-Top in Garter Stitch with Contrasting, Applied i-Cord-Edgings in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL. **Structure:** The summer top is worked top down in garter stitch in rows. You can decide if you want to work it in one piece or if you want to sew the shoulder seams to adapt the strap length due to your individual body shape. Start with the front part, which is worked back and forth in rows and the neckline and the armholes are shaped with increases. The front parts are joined by casting on new stitches. When the armhole shaping is finished, the front part is worked without any increases in garter stitch until the desired length is reached. The stitches are then cast off with an i-Cord-bind-off in the contrast colour. The back part is then worked according to the instructions of the front part. In the end, applied i-Cord-edgings are worked along the neckline, the armholes and the sides – to create the look of a false seam in the contrast colour. Then, the side seams are closed with the mattress stitch. The fit of the summer top is close to the bust, but with a relaxed fit due to the positive ease, which can be up to 10 cm. The length is cropped, which makes the top perfect to high waisted jeans, trousers and skirts.
