Construction: It begins in the round, casting on stitches for the neck (not for the neck ribbing, which will be done at the end) and shaping the neckline with short rows while working increases for the shoulders. Once the shoulders are finished, they are put on hold, and work continues flat, separately for the back and the front. Stitches are then picked up to knit the sides, that are knitted in 1x1 rib. Finally, the neck rib edge is worked in the round from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neckline. * **MATERIALS** **Yarn:** 335 meters of DK or worsted weight yarn, approximately 230-250 meters per 100 grams. For the neckwarmer shown in the photos, the following was used: 3 balls of My Knitted Closet - The Finest Suri: 53% Baby Suri Alpaca, 27% Recycled silk, 20% Cotton. | 50 gr, 125 meters [136 yards] **Needles:** Rib: 3.00mm / US 2 ½ Main: 4.00mm / US 6 Use the needles needed to obtain gauge, and for the ribbing, go down the equivalent needle sizes. **Cable:** Neck rib: 40-50 cm [16-20 inches] (or longer if you want to use magic loop) Rest: 60cm [24”]. You can pick a larger cable. **Notions:** Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, and scissors. One stitch marker for the beginning of the round and 4 additional markers. Stitch holders to put stitches on hold (or scrap yarn). * **GAUGE** Knit flat with 4 mm / US 6 needles, and after blocking, a 10x10 cm / 4” swatch measures: In stockinette stitch: 20 sts x 26 rows. In 1x1 ribbing: 20 sts x 30 rows. It is not essential to knit both swatches, but it is important to make a swatch and wash it. Se levantan puntos para tejer los elásticos de los laterales, y por último, se teje el elástico del cuello. * **MATERIALES** Hilo: 335 metros de un hilo de grosor DK o worsted, de aproximadamente 230-250 metros por cada 100 gramos. Para el cuello que se ve en las fotos, se ha usado: 3 ovillos de My Knitted Closet - The Finest Suri: 53% Baby Suri Alpaca, 27% Seda reciclada, 20% algodón. | 50 gr, 125 metros [136 yardas] **Agujas** Elásticos: Agujas circulares de 3.00mm / US 2 ½ Tejido principal: Agujas circulares de 4.00mm / US 6 Usa las agujas necesarias para obtener la muestra, y para los elásticos, baja los números de aguja equivalentes. **Cable** Cuello: 40-50 cm [16-20“] (o más largo si quieres hacer magic loop). Resto: 60cm [24”]. Puede ser más largo. **Extras** Aguja lanera para rematar cabos, metro o regla y tijeras. Marcador para inicio de vuelta y 4 marcadores más. Sujetapuntos para dejar puntos en espera. ****MUESTRA**** Tejido en plano , con agujas de 4mm / US 6, y después de bloquear, 10x10 cm / 4”, son: En punto liso: 20 p x 26 vtas. En punto elástico 1x1: 20 p x 30 vtas. No es imprescindible tejer las dos muestras, pero sí es importante que hagas la muestra y la laves, eso evitará que cuando acabes de tejer, te salga una prenda más grande o más pequeña de lo que esperabas.
