Spendigo 2024

The Australian Sheep and Wool Show is held in Bendigo, Victoria during July of each year. Avid crafters know it by the nickname *Spendigo* due to the vast amount of shopping that takes place by the thousands of attendees at the 3 day event. ~~~~~~ This is a snug fitting beanie because that is how I prefer to wear them. Try knitting in worsted instead if you prefer a slightly looser fit. ~~~~~~ This relatively simple design is worked in two colours, with (or without) corrugated ribbing and finishing with a pinwheel-style textured crown (or not). Begin and finish with written instructions, though the main colourwork pattern is fully charted. I have also provided a greyscale chart for you to try your own colours in advance of knitting as well as the chart showing light and dark in reverse. **Yarn** Any DK weight yarn, pure wool being my preferred choice. The maroon/beige sample shown used yarn produced only a few kilometres from the location of the Sheep & Wool Show.
