These mittens are knit with a ribbed cuff to fold into the mitten for extra warmth or to wear tucked into your jacket sleeve, Latvian braid cuff, and an afterthought thumb. This pattern includes directions and charts for 3 sizes [7¼, (8, 9) inches/18 (20, 22.5) cm circumference]. Fingering weight yarn and US1 (2.25mm) needles are used but additional sizes can be achieved by using smaller or larger needles and lighter or heavier sock yarns.
