Ottoman Jacket

OTTOMAN, the FAIRISLE CLUB 9 project, is a beautiful jacket design inspired by motifs found in carpets from Turkey and North Africa. It is knitted in 6 sections using 20 colours of the BRITISH BREEDS yarn and uses several different knitting techniques, including knitting Fairisle in the round, knitting Fairisle flat, steeking, picking up stitches, Kitchener stitch and mattress stitch. FAIRISLE CLUB 9 is a complete kit, covering two sizes. The project is supported by instructional videos covering in detail each of the 6 sections that make up OTTOMAN; these are released by email updates. As each section and the corresponding videos are released in intervals, you will be able to knitalong with Marie at your own pace referring to the videos when you wish.
