GarDenise Top

**THIS PATTERN HERE IS FOR THE GARDENISE TOP ONLY and pattern is in the form of Google Spreadsheet.** *GarDenise pattern is available separately as a dress (which includes the pattern for the top too).* This top is a spin-off from its sister-pattern, GarDenise Dress. Similarly, this pattern is made-to-measure so that it can suit any body shape. While the pattern download here is in pdf form, it will direct you to a Google Sheet for the actual pattern. The reason for using a Google Spreadsheet is, although it is made-to-measure, this pattern auto-calculates stitches required based on your body measurements and your desired ease of fit so that you don't have to worry about the Math, you just need to count and know your own body measurement. The pdf will guide you on how to navigate Google if you are new to it and the Google Sheet pattern will provide instructions on how to follow it. This top is made top down with the back panel first before the front left and right panels. Once you reach the required armhole size, these will be joined and made in turned rows to the end. After which plackets will follow and you have the option to make a collar or neckline edging and with or without sleeves. All these will be made directly onto the garment, hence the only sewing you need is for the buttons! Yardage on yarn varies since there can be so many variations and you can use any yarn of your preferred yarn weight; for reference only, based on the tested variations, the yarns used ranged from about 600m for a XS to 1600m for XXXL.
