They are worked from the toe up. The short-row heel is designed to minimize gaps and holes in the turned place. Because of the mini gusset in the sole, a larger heel can be made than a typical short-row heel. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. The stitch pattern of the sock top is charted only. Video tutorials are included.
