That's Meshed Up Top

Reminiscent of the string vests my Granny made back in the 80s, here is my take on a classic mesh top. It is made to measure, with options for long or short sleeves, and can be made to be fitted or oversized. This pattern is quick and fun to make and is suitable for beginners The top is made to measure - a UK size 12/14 in the long-sleeved top used 4 balls of Paintbox Cotton DK. Add an extra 50g ball for each size up. You will also need a 4.5 mm hook, 4 stitch markers and a darning needle. This pattern is written in UK terms. Keep measuring and trying on to ensure a perfect fit. This pattern is worked in the round, do not turn your work at the end of the round.
