It features the characteristic horizontal ribbing of the sweater’s turtleneck for a snug fit as well as the folded hem that gives it that rolled brim vibe. It does not take a lot of yarn so once you’ve made the Elbbrücken Pullover, you’re likely to have enough leftovers for this matching cap. I'm not much of a hat person myself. The brim is knitted top down twice its length and folded inwards to create a rolled look. **Fit** This minimalist cap is designed to fit snugly on the head while keeping the ears uncovered. **Needles** 3,5 mm / US 4 (2 pcs) and 4,5 mm / US 7 circular needles. **Notions** 3,5 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, waste yarn. **Gauge** 17 sts / 25 rows = 10 cm / 4″ on needle size 4,5 mm with yarn held double in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. **Techniques** Short rows, kitchener stitch, Latvian braids. **Skill level** Intermediate
