Use 2.25mm needle as a starting point for swatching. It’s important to work to the gauge specified, bearing in mind that garter stitch is very stretchy, and can grow significantly post-blocking. **Sizes** The size of this hat is adjustable by length and by circumference. Instructions for four sizes are included in the pattern. **Pattern notes** This short row hat begins with a provisional (winding) cast on, and is worked from side to side, with a slipped stitch edging.
