Nesting Cowl

Beautiful, soft, warm and sparkly, the Nesting Cowl is made with our Silk Shimmer and this is what makes this simple project special. This cowl is worked from the bottom up in a spiral, with a full twist, and begins and ends with a double crochet stitch. Yarn: 1 skein Fidalgo Artisan Yarn’s Silk Shimmer (63% Silk, 23% Kid Mohair, 10% Nylon & 4% Polyester; 100g = 330 yds). Hooks and Notions: US H (5mm) and US I (5.5mm) hooks, a locking stitch marker and darning needle. Gauge: 4.5 stitches and spaces per inch in pattern and 4.5 stitches per row before blocking. Finished Blocked Measurement: Approximately 24 inches in circumference and 14 inches tall when flat. Pattern Notes: Please use the I hook for the initial chain and ending chain rows, switch to H for the DC rows and back to I for pattern stitch.
