It is worked from the top down, seamlessly. The body has an extra-oversized fit and the decreases worked just before the hem ribbing shape the waist tight-fitting. The sleeves are extra wide and long so that you can layer it over various types of clothes, like a jacket. Take advantage of the top-down construction and try on your cardigan in progress to adjust the body and sleeve lengths to your liking. This cardigan is knitted with very large size needles and a thick yarn. Instead of using one strand of super bulky weight yarn, you can hold various types and weights of yarns together.
