*The BABA sweater got its name simply from the stripes with color A and B :) I'm still enthused about the stand-up collar working with the most wollen yarns and that it gets back in shape again, even after I've worn it rolled down* An option for an A-line shaped body and optional short sleeves are included in the pattern The BABA sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in 2x2 stripe pattern (2 rounds - 2 colors) throughout. Start working the collar and then increase for the yoke. Then the yoke is worked with raglan increases to sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, underarm sts are cast on, and you continue to work the body to the bottom. After the body is completed, the sleeve sts are picked up again to work the sleeves top down in the round to the end. > For any questions please join the [knitting support][1] in the ANKESTRiCK group Details: **SIZES** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) Bust circumference of the finished sweater (according to the front), positive ease included: 98 (106, 112, 120, 128)(136, 146, 156, 166) cm / 38½ (41¾, 44, 47¼, 50½)(53½, 57½, 61½, 65¼)" *The garment is intended to be worn with approx. 23 cm (9") of positive ease for smaller sizes and narrow bodies and gradually less positive ease for larger sizes and busty girls.* **GAUGE** 22 sts x 30 rows/rds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette st after blocking. **SUGGESTED NEEDLES** Main needle: 3.5-4mm (US4-6) (depending on your knitting tension), 40 cm (16") and at least 80 cm (32") circulars and DPNs for the sleeves Smaller needle: 3.25-3.75mm (US3-5), 40 cm (16") and at least 80 cm (32") circulars and DPNs for the sleeves **SUGGESTED YARN** Two yarns are held together throughout: Color A (lighter color): 3 (3, 3, 4, 4)(4, 5, 5, 6) cones of ITO Rakuda, (70% Wool, 30% camel), 212 (231yds)/40g.
