Ommatidia Fingerless Mitts

Ommatidia Crochet Mitts pattern was designed in collaboration with my Autistic teen son, seeking wearable fidget and sensory stimulation in a Mitt. Also sharing our love for all things entomology, the bobble pattern is inspired by the many parts of the compound eye of arthropods… the brilliant textures that Mother Nature gifts us. Pattern as pictured can be worked in 2 colours , perfect use for a 20g mini skein on the cuffs. Alternately can absolutely be worked in a single colour. As Bobble stitch has minimal stretch for Slim and Relax fit sizes require going up a hook size for body of Mitt. Teen/Petit 2.75mm, 80-90g yarn Slim 2.75mm-3mm, 90-100g yarn Relax Fit 3mm-3.5mm, 100-110g yarn Pattern is written in US terms, easy to follow. Would suit a confident Intermediate level skill.
