Queen of Hearts Maze Hat & Mitts

This pattern was designed for my LYS, Needle & Skein, for the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2024!! Follow the Queen of Hearts through her maze and have fun knitting the different textures and mosaic before the Queen shouts “off with her head!” When your hat and mitts are complete, can you find your way through the maze from beginning to end? **YARN** Dream in Color Cosette DK (70% superwash merino wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; 270 yds per 4 oz/113 g skein) MC: variegated color “We are all mad here”; 1 skein (270 yds) CC1: semi-solid color “Curiouser and Curiouser”; 1 half skein (135 yds) CC2: semi-solid color “Six impossible things before breakfast”; 1 half skein (135 yds) **TOOLS** US 3/3.5mm for brim US 4/3.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge 16” circular needles and DPN (or extra long circular for Magic Loop) stitch markers tapestry needle **GAUGE** 23 sts x 58 rows = 4x4 inches in Maze Mosaic Chart **Finished Measurments** Hat: 10 in from brim to crown; 20 in diameter (19.5 in at brim) Mitts: 8 in tall; 7 in diameter at wrist
