Regimental Cowl

Our alpaca and silk blend, Birdie, is a firm favorite for all kinds of projects—held double, knit by itself, or stranded along with another yarn. For this project, we invite you to pick three colors and enjoy the color play of simple regimental stripes knit into this hybrid triangular shawl and cowl. It's an easily styled piece that you'll knit again and again! SAMPLES SHOWN Red cowl: Birdie in colors MC Paisley, CC1 Waverly, and CC2 Pinafore. Blue cowl: Birdie in colors MC Alpine Flannel, CC1 Glass Jar, and CC2 Sour Apple. SIZES One size. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approx. 22" circumference at neck opening, 42" circumference at bottom x 20" deep along center spine. YARN REQUIREMENTS *Please note these are yarn estimates. The amount used will depend on yarn, your personal gauge, and any modifications you make.* The Lamb & Kid Birdie (74% alpaca, 26% silk; 328 yards per 50g): 3 skeins, 1 each in 3 different colors.
