Hibiscus Market Bag

The Hibiscus Market Bag is a floral summer dream. The prototype was made using a 4.50 mm hook and 345 yards (181 g.) of Hempster yarn by Patons. Pattern testers used between 300 and 400 yards. Any Fine, Sport or DK cotton or cotton-like yarn should work great for this project. You can also choose whatever hook size that works best with your yarn. When laying flat, the bag measures about 18 inches in width and 12 inches in height, and the straps are about 24 inches long. With this confident beginner-level pattern, you are expected to know how to make a magic circle, a chain, an SC, an HDC, a DC, a TR and a slip stitch.
