Rachel Cloche

My sweet SIL, Rachel, asked me to make her a cloche style hat, so the "Rachel Cloche" pattern was born! This hat is a throw-back to the roaring 1920's when cloches were all the rage and today the cloche style is making a stylish comeback. Back in their hay-day, Cloche styles were worn by everyone from the working-class women to the most popular & glamorous stars of the movies. The short-brimmed cloche hat is thought to be particularly suited to short hairstyles, but I think it looks marvelous on all hairstyles! Pattern is written for adult sizes, but is easy to adjust.
