Travelling Shades Cowl

The Travelling Shades Cowl has a unique bias construction that creates an intricate look and a comfortable fit. Designed to be worked with double strands of 4ply yarns held together, this offers an opportunity to combine colours that form diagonal waves of shades. Alternatively, you can work the cowl with worsted /Aran weight self striping or solid yarn Suitable for any weight yarn and colour combinations from your stash, the possibilities are endless. Knit this for yourself or as a gift for someone special! Skill level: Beginner. Written form pattern in English only, step by step instructions, to make this project an enjoyable experience. Measurements: (easy adjustable, suitable for any yarn weight) Length(max): - Adults 54cm/21” - Kids 45cm/17.5” Circumference (at the neckline, stretchy): - Adults 59cm/23” - Kids 48cm/19” Materials needed: - 5mm (US10-11) hook - 700-840yds 4ply/Fingering yarn held together. You can use any other weight yarn, but total yards needed will be different.
