Panhandlers

Panhandlers includes three sizes: a gauge swatch coaster as well as a potholder and a hot pad. All three are worked in Tunisian crochet (TSS and TKS) which gives a nice thickness to protect your hand or table from heat. A border is worked around the edges to finish the edges and tame any rolling edges. You'll need 100% cotton worsted weight yarn with a size J (6mm) Tunisian crochet hook for this project. Yarn amounts needed are fourteen yards for a coaster 4"x4", 40 yards for a potholder 7"x7" or 52 yards for a hot pad 8"x8". This pattern assumes that you are familiar with Tunisian crochet. The three page pattern has written instructions only.
