Lil Caramel the Camel

Meet Lil Caramel the Camel (or Cara, for short). As a camel, it's easy for her to see every day as hump day. She likes to think that the hardest parts of her task are always behind her, allowing her relax a little more as she looks ahead to the future. She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through. I’ve made samples in two different sizes. The worsted weight version is made using a 4.0 mm (G) hook and Knit Picks Brava Worsted. The DK weight version is made using 2.25 mm (B) hook and Paintbox Yarn Cotton DK. Skills you will need include single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, slip stitches, increases, decreases, crocheting in the top and bottom of a foundation chain, and some seaming. Including is a step-by-step tutorial on how to sew up the "cross" style legs used in this pattern.
