No code needed Laitís is a simple cowl worked in the round using slipped stitches (mosaic knitting) to achieve a lattice pattern with endless possibilities for colour and yarn combinations. Only one colour is worked at a time, making it quite a relaxing yet engaging knit once you get familiar with the stitch pattern. This cowl is great for using single skeins of colour-shifting or long gradient yarns, mixing and matching mini skeins and leftovers and, of course, using your own handspun to achieve fun colour effects. You can also play around and use yarns of slightly different weights to achieve interesting effects. **SIZE AND FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:** Once size Width x Circumference: 25 cm x 70 cm / 10 inches x 28 inches **YARN:** Sample 1: Colour A: Soft Donegal Single 1/3.8, 100% merino wool, colour 5507, 100 grams – 380 meters / 416 yards Colour B: Aade Lõng (Kauni), 100% wool, 8/2, colour Rusty, 100 grams – 400 meters / 438 yards Sample2: Colour A: Tukuwool fingering, 100% Finnish wool, 100 gram – 370 meters / 405 yards Colour B: Handspun fingering to sport weight 100% merino wool, fiber from Hikari Handmade, 100 grams – 360 meters / 394 yards Sample 3: Colour A: Handspun fingering to sport weight 100% Shetland wool, fiber from HillTopCloud, 100 gram – 360 meters / 394 yards Colour B: Handspun DK weight 100% Shetland wool, fiber from Wingham Wool Work, 100 grams – 260 meters / 284 yards **YARN SUBSTITUTION:** Fingering to sport weight to achieve gauge.
