.......... BACK TO FRONT PULLOVER An exploration of form and versatility, the Back to Front Pullover is essentially two garments in one. In lieu of a traditional front and back, this design features two necklines: a Scoop-neck on one side, and a V-neck on the other. It does not matter which way you wear the pullover; it is always the correct way around! Both the V and the Scoop necklines are moderate in depth, striking a balance between casual and dressy - and ensuring that you can wear a standard bra underneath without it showing at the back. Great care has been taking in developing the design to ensure the neckline is stable and will not slip off the shoulder - unless you deliberately choose to position it that way. The result is a truly versatile design, offering many stylistic options in one garment. .......... Sleeves are picked up from armholes and worked top-down in the round. .......... NOTES ON YARN SELECTION This garment can be knitted with any yarn that is workable at the stated gauge. To achieve the fluffy, lightweight and airy look of the samples, opt for a woollen-spun yarn toward the lighter (fingering-weight) end of the spectrum. Laceweight mohair, and similar yarns that can be knitted above gauge, are also suitable if you want a fuzzy, gauzy fabric. If you want something more like a summer t-shirt, opt for a plant fibre yarn (cotton or linen blend), or for a fine superwash merino. Standard fingering-weight sock yarn will also work. If you plan to wear the finished garment next to skin, be sure to select a yarn that you can tolerate in this capacity.
