The dress is worked from the top down using 1 strand of Heavy Merino. You start working back and forth in order to create the keyhole opening before continuing in the round. Icord edges finish the sleeves and neckline, and the neck opening is closed with i-cord ties. The neck keyhole opening can be placed on the front or the back depending on preference.
