Welcome to Newt! Another amphibian friend for you. Knitted flat with i-cord limbs and with the addition of a wire armature to make Newt as posable as possible. The yarn I've knitted mine in is from my stash but any 4-ply will be suitable, and I've also knitted mine with 2mm but if this is too tight for you 2.50mm will also work - unless, of course, you want a much bigger lizard ... then any yarn and needles you fancy - anything goes! The pattern also includes the tank top you see pictured - something warm to wear to keep this cold blooded critter cosy! P.S The vest will also fit my other small animal dolls as long as you knit with similar weight yarn And I do get asked about the shoes!
