도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
- Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
- This pattern includes an extensive photo tutorial! With that in mind, please use care if choosing to print the pattern. I recommend printing just the pages you need, and referencing the photo tutorial digitally.
- Pattern is written for four sizes: (Baby - fits 12-15” circumference) (Toddler - fits 14-17” circumference) (Child - fits 16-19” circumference) and Adult - Fits 18-22” circumference.
- Yarn: Sport weight (CYC weight 2). Approximately (225) (250) (275) 300 yards. I used approximately 285 yards of Nash Island Tide yarn (100% wild Maine wool, 175 yds/50 grams) in the color Spruce for an Adult size beanie with a folded brim. Some testers used a heavier fingering weight yarn, which was able to meet gauge as well.
- Hook: 3.75 mm, or size needed to meet gauge.
- Finished size: Baby: 12” circumference, Toddler: 14” circumference, Child: 16” circumference, Adult: 18” circumference. These measurements are without stretch, and with only a gentle blocking.
- Gauge: In scblo ribbing (see brim pattern for any size): 24 rows of ribbing = 4” long, slightly stretched. 23 stitches (scblo) = 4” wide. Both measurements are before blocking.
- Yardages given are for a double brim. Single brim hats will use less yarn than specified.
- Fit Note - if choosing the permanent double brim option, note that it does make the hat overall less stretchy. To help with this, consider going up one or two hook sizes for the first body row which joins the two layers of the brim together.
- Blocking Note - I used a non-superwash yarn with quite a lot of structure, which did not stretch much at all when blocked. I suggest blocking your swatch to make sure it does not stretch more than you would like, especially if using a superwash fiber or any fiber with a lot of stretch.
