Designed for: - furry friends with the CHEST circumference (around the widest part behind the front legs) up to 18.5 inches (47 cm), weighing no more than 18.8 lb (8.5 kg); - about 219 yds (200 m) of LIGHT or MEDIUM WORSTED yarn (US weight category 3 or 4); - crochet density (GAUGE) from 14 to 21 sc BLO stitches per 4 inches (10 cm), depending on the size. NOTE: Pattern contains a chart with the suggested GAUGE for average sizes of the following dog breeds: - Chihuahua, Toy Terrier (XXS); - Yorkie, Maltese (XS); - Bichon, Shih Tzu, Chinese Crested, Mini Pinscher, Toy Poodle, Mini Dachshund (S); - Mini Poodle, Dachshund, Pug, Jack Russell, Scottish Terrier, Mini Schnauzer (M). The pattern can be applied to adult cats of most breeds. Crochet skill level required: ‘INTERMEDIATE’ (EASY for those who are focused enough to count stitches carefully).
