Crofter´s Socks

Crofter´s Socks are worked from top down in a simple colourwork pattern with a heel flap and gusset. The heel flap is extra reinforced by slipping every other stitch, which forms a decorative pattern. The socks are warm and soft and are perfect for pottering about at the croft, regardless of season. Yarn Sport weight sock yarn. Yarn used is Novita Nalle, 75% superwash wool, 25% polyamide, 260 m / 284 yards per 100 gr. MC: Novita Nalle 061 Linen CC: Novita Nalle 099 Black Needles Double pointed needles: 3.0 mm / US 2.5 and 3.5 mm / US 4 Gauge 28 sts x 26 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches in colourwork in the round, on 3.5 mm / US 4 needles.
