This amigurumi features realistic color changes on the head, as well as crochet methods to make the beak and 3-toed feet. This fluffy antarctic bird is able to stand up on its own, and makes a great keychain! It can also be crocheted with different yarn weights and fibers to create different looks, such as super bulky blanket or chenille yarn for a plush, velvety look! It’s the perfect birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift for animal lovers and penguin enthusiasts. It’s also suitable as a portable “pocket pal” toy for kids to carry along with them as a therapy aid or fidget. Since this crochet pattern doesn’t require sewing and works up quickly, it’s also suitable as a market prep item, especially for the winter season.
