As a knitter, I am pleased to offer this crochet hat pattern ... only my 2nd one. Crochet produces different texture and is usually quick. If you make a boo-boo in your project, ripping back is relatively painless ... compared to ripping back in a knit project. This hat is worked in the round from the top down, and uses the following crochet stitches: chain, slip stitch, single and double crochet stitches, and cluster stitch. The pattern is written using American crochet terms. The sample hat was made using worsted weight yarn and a J hook, and was completed in less than 3 hours.
