Into the North Hat

It has contains 3 classic pieces: a headband, fingerless mittens, and a cowl. However, I always felt like it was missing a hat (I mean, you might not survive winter in the north without a hat). In honor of the independent release of the Into the North set, I have designed a classic and cozy hat to go with the original set. This way, you can choose to make hat or headband, or both! > Be sure to check out the Into the North Set! This is an intermediate level pattern. The pattern is written in standard US crochet terms. This is a made-to-measure pattern with short-row shaping. It includes guidance for how to calculate stitches and rows to make your perfect hat. However, I have also included what I did to make my own sample. **Dimensions:** The sample I made was 18” (45 cm) in circumference, and 10” (25 cm) tall, with a 4” (10 cm) fold over brim, making the total length 14” (35 cm) **Here’s what you’ll need:** **Hook:** 5 mm **Yarn:** Yardage will vary based on what yarn weight you use the dimensions you choose.
