Brick Alley Cowl

This pattern is a spin-off from the Cobblestone Court Wrap. One thing leads to another. Yarn remained from the Cobblestone Court Wrap, and I wanted to play with the stitch patterns in another venue. Thus, this Bandana-shaped cowl came into being. **Features** * Tab Cast on * Knit top down like a triangle shawl * A nifty join for joining in the round * Three stitch patterns: Lace, mosaic, 3x3 garter rib * Tutorial for mosaic knitting * Easy to read charts * Step by step instructions, but not line by line written directions * A great stash buster project. **Materials** * Yarn: MC: 220-270 yds total of light fingering or fingering weight yarn. Two contrasting colors, 30-44 yds each **or** One contrasting color, 130 yds. * Needles: 24" circular U.S. size 5 (3.75mm) * Beads: Size 6/0 Seed beads (Need number) (Optional) **Finished Measurements**: Center front = 20” deep Neck circumference = 23.5” Lower edge circumference = 39” I was able to make two cowls from the yarn that remained from Cobblestone Court. Make one as a gift and keep one for yourself.
