Railroad Beanie

The Railroad Beanie joins the family of made-to-measure beanies. You can use any yarn and make any size you want. Standard sizing charts are provided for Newborn through Adult Large. It is a unisex design, making it the perfect gift-giving beanie! The Railroad Beanie is worked bottom up, starting with the brim. The body is worked entirely in the third loop using a combination of regular half double crochet and extended half double crochet stitches. It is a fun and quick make, perfect for that single (or 2) skein project. This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern as there is a unique method used to keep the seam from leaning since the beanie is worked in continuous, joined rounds.
