The Ridge Cardigan ~Adult~ PATTERN The Ridge Cardigan is a classic raglan style v-neck cardigan. It is constructed from the top down and is worked flat for the body and in the round for the sleeves. It is knit in a simple pattern alternating knit and purl rows that create the ‘ridges’. It has an oversized fit with deep armholes and billowy sleeves. It has a slightly cropped length with a finished fit of 5 to 8" [12 to 20cm] of positive ease built in to the pattern. Choose the size based on how much ease is preferred. Some techniques to know: knit, purl, m1r, m1l, k2tog, ssk, ssp, p1tbl, k1tbl pick up and knit etc Pattern has been professionally graded. Pattern includes 8 sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL *please note 3XL & 4XL have not been test knitted Skill Level: Intermediate Finished Chest Circumference: 35.75 (39.5) 43.25 (47) 51.25 (54.5) 59 (62)” [91 (100) 110 (119) 130 (138) 150 (157)]cm Gauge: 17 sts x 27 rows = 4 x 4” [10 x 10 cm] in pattern, both flat and in the round, on US 9, 5.5mm needles, blocked. 1) work 5 rows of stockinette stitch 2) knit 3 rows Repeat steps 1 & 2 until gauge has been reached.
