When Harry met Lucy was inspired by two of my favorite rom-coms: When Harry met Sally and While You Were Sleeping. Harry wears an iconic cabled pullover when helping Sally move in. Lucy wears oversized pullovers throughout the movie. I believe she's wearing her deceased father's pullovers to connect with him. And Harry could be related to Lucy somehow.
