Easy Pumpkin Patch

To celebrate National Pumpkin Day and to put us in the spirit for the season I wanted to share this cute, easy design to brighten your home and life! This is a **crochet** design. It works from the top down and in the round increasing and decreasing along the way. It is seamless and you will only have to sew one yarn tail at the end. Gauge is not crucial for this project. The cited gauge is only for medium-sized pumpkins created with 6mm hooks and worsted-weight yarn. For the other sizes, you will need a bigger or smaller hook size and a bigger or smaller yarn weight. I used Dk yarn for the smaller size and for the large one, I used Super Bulky yarn. You will have all the details in the pattern for the small, medium, and large sizes. You will need: 1 skein of DK yarn and a 3.75mm (F) crochet hook, for small size 1 skein of worsted yarn and a 6mm (J) crochet hook, for medium size 2 skeins of super bulky yarn and a 11.5mm (P)crochet hook for large size. (one skein suggestion for this size is included in the update) 1 stitch marker. Some Fiberfill for stuffing. Cinnamon sticks or any small stick will work (optional) Scissors, ribbons, or bulky yarn to decorate the stem.
