Louleigh's Favourite Socks

This pattern is the culmination of years of sock knitting, experimenting with gauge, yarn and fit. That sounds rather grand doesn’t it? A person can get mightily excited when they finally stumble across the perfect synergy of heel, toe, and fabric. This is the sock construction that fits my paddle shaped feet best. It has a ‘Square’ or ‘Dutch’ heel turn to accommodate my narrow heel and high instep; and a swirl toe that fits my wide round toe box perfectly. I hope you enjoy it. Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL Approximate UK shoe size: 3, 5, 6, 7.5, 9.5, 11 Approximate US shoe size: 5, 7, 8, 9.5, 11.5, 13 Yarn requirements: 100g of 4 ply (fingering) weight yarn.
