Toadstool Hat

The pattern features a cute toadstool motif, designed originally for the ‘Fall into Autumn CAL’ blanket which I designed for Knitcraft at Hobbycraft. (See my store for a link to the blanket pattern as well as tutorial videos to help with the stitches) I used 5 autumnal colours form the Women’s Institute Premium Acrylic DK range for the mustard hat. The teal hat is made from a variety of Stylecraft Special DK. Any DK could be used with a 4mm hook. Approx 50g is needed for the main colour (ribbing and top), small amounts can be used for the colourwork. The ribbing is made first in short rows, then the main hat is worked bottom up, in the round. Pattern is for teen/adult size hat and includes details on how to adjust the sizing for a perfect fit. Due to the scale of the pattern repeat it may not be suitable however for a small baby/toddler.
