Brambling Sweater Crochet Pattern A simple boxy sweater for children. The front and back pieces are identical, designed so that it can be worn either way around – makes getting dressed simpler for little ones. Plenty of room in the arms, and cosy ribbing around the cuffs and neck. You will need DK yarn and a 4 mm / G hook. Designed for 100% cotton yarn, but you can use any DK yarn, eg acrylic, wool. Measurements Age 2-3 years Chest 64 cm / 25 inches Length 34cm / 13 inches 4-5 years Chest 70 cm / 27 inches Length 38 cm / 15 inches 6-7 years Chest 74 cm / 29 inches Length 42 cm / 16.5 inches 8-9 years Chest 82 cm / 32 inches Length 44 cm / 17 inches 10-11 years Chest 92 cm / 36 inches Length 52 cm / 20 inches Ages are approximate as children vary in size so much, please use chest size measurements rather than age, and allow 3-4 inches of positive ease.
