To complete this, you will need to know the following stitches: sl knot and ch, sc, sl st, hdc, dc, tr For this rose, I used Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Autumn Red, Color #9730, and a 3.5mm (US E) hook. The completed rose will measure about 4.5" across. This rose pattern was the foundation idea for the 7 Roses (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/seven-roses), but is larger than those with several variations.
