Elephant and Piggie Amigurumi

I just love the Elephant and Piggie books! Perhaps you know a young reader who loves these characters, too? Inspired by the fantastic Mo Willems series for young readers, Elephant and Piggie, now you can make your own cuddly friends! For Elephant: • Worsted-weight yarn in Light Gray. (Brand used: Red Heart Super Saver) • Size G hook (4 mm) crochet hook • Fiberfill or stuffing • Needle with a large eye • White felt, black embroidery thread or black yarn • Black felt or fabric paint (for eye) • Fabric glue or white needle-and-thread For Piggie: • Worsted-weight yarn in Pink. (Brand used: Red Heart Super Saver) • Size G hook (4 mm) crochet hook • Fiberfill or stuffing • Needle with a large eye • Black felt • Black needle-and-thread or fabric glue • Black embroidery thread This pattern is at an Easy level. You need to know how to single crochet in the round, increase, decrease, slip stitch, and crochet in the back loop only. Pattern includes 5 pages of detailed instruction in English and color photos to help guide you along.
