Sheep!

These adorable, distinctive sheep are worked completely seamlessly from the bottom-up on double-pointed needles (the pattern can be easily adapted for Magic Loop). **Pattern Notes: A couple of quick things to mention! 1. For rounds 19 & 20 of the Colorwork Sheep body, you can use either the Main Color or the Contrast Color. The sample uses the lighter color for these two rounds. It's up to you and either will work fine! 2. If you don't end up with the correct number of stitches on the needles when you pick up and knit around the edge of the Belly for the Body, you can simply increase on the first round of the body to get to the right number of stitches on each needle. No worries, that will work just fine! Finished measurements: Body length 4-inches, height 3.5-inches Yarn: Home Fingering Weight in the Bear, Red Flannel, Priscilla and Ellie Gray colorways. Needles: US size 2 (3.25 mm) double-pointed needles, set of 4, or size to obtain gauge Gauge: 6.5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch Materials: Detachable stitch markers Tape measure or ruler Yarn needle Polyester fiberfill Black embroidery floss Scrap yarn Cable needle For the Loopy Sheep!
