Simple Towel Topper

Simple towel topper has been designed for those new to crocheting the tops of towels. There are several ways you can prepare a towel for a crocheted top, but for this pattern i have used the embroidery chain stitch, as it gives a cleaner finish. You can use blanket stitch or if you have a sharp steel hook you can crochet into the top. The pattern calls for 37 stitches across the center, to achieve this, it will be 1 stitch per 1cm, this will make to top to gather.
