Cozy Striped Socks

Most patterns written for self-striping yarns use an afterthought heel, which looks great but for those of us with a high instep doesn't always provide the best fit. This is how I knit my self-striping socks. The gusset/heel flap combined with a FLK provides a little extra room for that perfect fit. **Important:** This pattern incorporates the [Fish Lips Kiss][1] heel, you can purchase the pattern for $1 through Ravelry if you do not already own it.
