FINISHED SIZE All Handwarmers: Approx. 6½"/17cm circumference around palm; 7"/18 cm long. YARN Approx. 150 yds/137m of worsted-weight yarn for each pair (ball band should suggest a knitted gauge of approx. 18 stitches = 4"/10cm). We used 1 skein each [Manos del Uruguay Maxima][4] (219 yds/200m) in Color 2426 Stratus (Basic Handwarmers), Color 2545 Pewter (Ribbed Handwarmers), and Color 2590 Natural (Textured Handwarmers). HOOKS & NOTIONS US H/8 (5mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge. Blunt darning needle to finish. Optional: 2 locking markers to mark turning chains.
