<big>Hemisphere is a two colour, double knit hat that transforms the wearer's head into a globe of the earth.</big> Inspired by my husband’s love of cartography, Hemisphere is worked in the round from the brim up and uses charted map projections to simultaneously achieve the globe effect and head shaping. This pattern is intended to be worked in complimenting colourways of Malabrigo Twist, personal colour choice highlighting or subduing the globe effect. Extra warm because of its two Aran weight layers, the hat is stretchy (and subversively reversible) due to its double knit construction.
